    Levantaram o muro e criaram dois mundos diferentes. Uns vivem para cá do muro, outros vivem para lá do muro. Cada pessoa cria o seu próprio mundo e a sua sensação de segurança. Embora sejam mundos mentais, são algo que as pessoas conseguem ver e habitar. O muro produz uma parodia de segurança dentro do seu pequeno mundo. O fotógrafo só estava de passagem, para cá do muro.

    Google translates the commentary as:

    "They raised the wall and created two different worlds. Some live here...[within] the wall, others live beyond the wall. Each person creates their own world and their sense of security. Although they are mental worlds, they are something that people can see and inhabit. The wall produces a parody of security within your little world. The photographer was just passing through the wall."

    Which largely reflects how I perceived the image. So from my perspective it works well.

    This image gives me a disturbing feeling of a WW-II concentration camp. That is not at all to say it is not a good image. An image that evokes emotions is a good image; even if the emotions are dark ones.

    The wall confines a population within, seeming to protect (for a time) a population without; yet above we see the trails of another population protected within their silver confines: free but yet (for a time) not...
