Forest
Trees as important for the sustainability of the planet we live in. They are also of great beauty.
This is a photograph captured in a forest where wild animals could attack the greatest predators of the World.

Re: Forest
While I like the subtlety of the forest and the haze in the air, the soft out of focus tree in the foreground does not work at all for me. It is a major distracting element in a scene that has great potential.
As a general rule, the human visual system has no issues with softness behind the main subject, but softness in the foreground tends to not work well.

Re: Forest
I like the subtle colours, although the foreground tree reminds me of being able to create bokeh on a Nikon DC lens where the OOF area can be altered and adjusted to be in front of or behind the subject.
There are a few, very few subjects where OOF foreground works as Manfred says; it is the perception of the human visual system that controls how we mentally “understand’ such ‘distortion’ and out of focus to the front is the exception rather than the rule.
But keep the interesting subjects coming.
