Devils Tower

I can't guess how many times I have driven by the Sundance, Wyoming exit which leads to Devils Tower National Monument. Yesterday my son and I decided to do the 2 1/2 hour road trip.

Impressive tower and some really nice views of it.

It is quite a place. I would see it from the interstate when driving back and forth but never stopped to check it out. It can be seen from the highway about 30 miles away. It is a big destination for rock climbers.

This is a very true statement. It is on my list of adventures to do and document.
