    Rider at the Kumeu Show

I had a bit of fun putting this together. Pretty tricky first time, however, if I do one again it will be much easier. I used a photo I had taken at a local show near Auckland.

That is good for a first time. I like the idea.

I like the concept and the execution. Every time I finish an image like this one, I always thing about how I would take my work to the next level.

What additional concepts / ideas have you had on modifying what you have done here?

This looks like a well executed technique; not least because all the curves are in line with each other and nicely reflect the density of the colours in the original image. Well done!

Hi Manfred - what I would like to do is to do something similar with a skateboarder pic that I have. He has just travelled an arc and is virtually horizontal on one side. I started with that before switching to the one I have here. In the one I had difficulties with, when I took a thin slice of him to expand, I was not able for some reason to expand in the direction I wanted? Probably I will have another try.
