Re-Paving

One of our local highways in Hamilton has been the scene of many accidents, some of which have resulted in fatalities. The cause of the accidents is reported to have been the use of an asphalt topping which was not to spec. The topping has been stripped from this section of the highway and in this pic, is being replaced.

I like the idea. How about cropping to just below the bridge and just before the machinery and use a 16 : 9 ratio. (I am asking a lot here

+1 to Ole's suggestion, although I would probably take a tiny bit off the top too. I find the shot has just a touch of a yellow colour cast too.

While I never worked in construction I did have some fairly unpleasant summer jobs in my high school and university days. Those always made me realize I did not want that kind of work and encouraged me to complete my education so I didn't have to.

I did one like that, but did not check the ratio. Here it is:



I chose to post the first one because it captured the traffic coming in the opposite direction.

You can see the vapour rising from the side; so not only dirty, but unsafe.
