An image from the Cantal region of central France. Clear blue skies and harsh light far from ideal for photography, plus I had a horrible cold so ... relax on a chair and fly the drone. The idea was to fly round this church which is situated alone on a plateau with a 360 degree view of the countryside. Up went the drone, out came the sandwiches, get the drone into position and then it was attacked by a bloody buzzard. A couple of minutes spent in aerial combat with this enormous bird who resented my intrusion into its territory with my poor little drone on the defensive. Eventually it flew away having defeated this little buzzing intruder and I was left to continue with my plan. A couple of laps of the church for video, a few snapshots, but, in the excitement I had forgotten to set something or other and I ended up with 20 seconds of still video. This then is a frame grab from those 20 seconds, the sandwiches were good though ....
