This is is not your usual standard, Antonio. The depth of field is good, but the lead in lines (namely the base of the buildings and the kerb) lead my eye to straight to the car which has an unfortunate position in the image. Unfortunately cropping to exclude the car would not make a significantly stronger image (in my opinion).
I like the dog photo. I would prefer it cropped with the dog clearly the subject with the plants on both sides and just the sidewalk in front. The dog is an old hound with an expressive face. Like he has seen it all before.
I also like this image... I have an affinity towards dogs as you well know... I think though a bit closer crop might just show the dog off better. I like the OOF busy background because I think that it adds to the serenity of the dog. I was trying to decide whether to keep the drain in the image and I decided that it might just balance the dog, making a triangle: drain - dog - busy background...
Here is the way I would present the image...
Agree a tighter crop concentrating on the pup would work for this composition.
Love this photograph. I can't decide on crop. While I think the two men don't add much to the photo, and can be a distraction, I do believe the position of the dog in the frame is enough to draw my attention there right off the bat. Cool looking dog.
I quite like Richard's crop, Antonio - although I would crop in a little more on the right. It is an image well worth discussing, so find it distracting that you bring in other images. Keep to the topic ............. is my input.
