    Sandstone

At the top of the hill I now live on is a shale and sandstone quarry. I often walk up there for the view but usually for no reason except a walk. My grandkids like to go up there as well and all of us love to find bits of sandstone with patterns. When one finds a nice bit we all admire it.

I will be moving away within the next two months and was trying to find a nice piece to take to put in our new garden. Then it struck me, why not make a collage of small images; that way i get to look at several patterns. Plus I get to give the grandkids the same images so we all get to enjoy

Yes lovely images. The tight framing really works here displaying a kind of abstract art. Love this kind of thing.

    Very nice images.

A suggestion: try rotating them. The large area in the top half of the first makes it seem top-heavy. It might look better rotated 180 degrees. I go back and forth about rotating the second 90 degrees clockwise.

    Just a thought.

Thanks I will consider your suggestions.

I liked the direction of the diagonal lines in the second image, will have to see if the rotation improves that

The second image is the standout for me. I like it a lot.
