The out of focus foreground on the bench is a significant distraction.
I wonder if part of the issue you have in going from a 2x crop factor Olympus to a full frame Sony is that you are setting your aperture as if you were still shooting the mFT Oly. Try setting your aperture 2 stops lower for the same framing to compensate for using a larger sensor camera to see if that works.
I had the opposite issue when I started shooting a mFT Panasonic after years of using a FF Nikon. I tend to be a narrow DoF shooter and found that my images did not have the DoF that I wanted. For the same framing using an equivalent focal length the images had too much in sharp focus.

Now, with a FF sensor I try to explore the shallow DOF which I like so much with great bokeh.
But perhaps you are right about coming from m43... I did not sell the m43 system so far.
