Bram Stoker has a lot to answer for!

We decided to have a run to Whitby to explore it's Abbey. Unfortunately on arriving at the Abbey car park, notices on the pay and display parking machines advised that the Abbey was closed to visitors.
The closure was to allow some film making to take place. Although I suspect the filming would be taking place during the evening and the film crews were setting up during the day light hours.
My suspicions are due to my understanding that Vampires are not to keen on daylight! But I could be wrong .

Dracula couldn't stop me pointing my camera over the Abbey wall though .

Question: Why do the images from my CiC Album appear as links only?
Answer: because I was inserting them incorrectly, stupid boy!

Nice efforts, I like the detail brought in the edit.

I must visit Whitby again. The Abbey doesn't look quite so scary in bright sunshine.

The Abbey looks well worth a visit. What is the structure at the end of the pathway, I wonder?

The colours are rather vibrant, especially the greens and blues, and #2, the square format image, might benefit from some clockwise rotation.
