tiny carnivorous fly

This isn't a high-quality image, but I think it's interesting. Today I went out to try to shoot bugs on an oak-leaf hydrangea--somewhat difficult because the flowers are underneath the petals. I saw a tiny shiny green fly on a leaf, apparently eating something. I grabbed a few shots, but the critter was just to small for a regular macro lens--maybe less than 3 x 1 mm. It appears to have been eating an even smaller bee or fly. By the time I ran in to get an extension tube, it was gone, so this is the best I can do (a severe crop):
