Chrome is the most widely used browser--by a large margin--but it is a security risk. See this article. I have used Firefox as my primary browser for years but kept Chrome for the few pages that rendered poorly on Firefox (I think because of all the security things I have loaded into it). After reading this article, I removed Chrome from my computers entirely.

I totally agree Dan. Somehow using a browser and search engine that tries to track my every move seems wrong. I rarely use anything other than FireFox (which has been improving over the many years I've used it) all the time.

I use DuckDuckGo as my default search engine, again because it does not track my searches.

For the life of me, I can't understand why people use Google or Facebook products more more than an absolute minimum. I have been able to avoid Google product, but unfortunately a number of organizations I belong to use Facebook, but I tend to use it only for connecting with them.

    Thank you Dan.
For the moment I can't read the article because I am not a subscriber and have read the maximum article for a month.
Later on I will be back and read it.

I use DuckDuckGo by default also. In addition, I installed disconnect.me into Firefox, which silently blocks many undesirable contacts.

Another well framed shot Antonio. There is something very strange happening with the throat and neck? It isn't just the lighting. I'm not loving the white balance as the skin tones are quite orange.

    Good point.
    I will have a look
Well... just a little bit better. But let's assume that arms, hands, necks and so on were also with make up !

    Re: Performer

Just for comparison, I did two things:

    1. set white balance using the whites of one of the girl's eyes. That wasn't enough.

    2. I pulled down orange and yellow (more orange), watching the neck. I did this using the targeted adjustment tool in Lightroom, focusing on the neck, so Lightroom picked the balance of orange and yellow. I think maybe moving the yellow back up again would work.

Oops. Just saw your second posting. Here is one that does nothing but change the white balance using the eye:

Another one to end this tread. Perhaps another crop would be better but I wanted to keep the same all over the captures.
I would say this is one the worst of the set.

Thank you Dank for your work and comment.
However, I like the "agressiveness" of my version as colours are an important part of the scene.
But, I do gladly accept your comments from which I learn a lot ! Thank you !

I admit that my version is a bit orange

    Re: Performer

This thread motivated me to look at other work of Antonio (his flickr and Projecto 33 images - I don't do FB). We only get a small glimpse of his work here on CIC and the other sites are well worth a visit.

    Re: Performer

That is nice of you Bill...
Some images I have been shooting recently are missing in both, my personal site and Flickr.
Flickr is more like a place where I jump less quality photos...
I am too concentrated on forums (perhaps too much) and being too peeki (how am I supposed to write this ?)
I now post rarely on my site as I tend to work with small collections.
But I am going to. I am going !
    Thank you Bill !
    Cheers !

I think that what you mean would be written as "picky" in English.
