I took my good friend Ashley and her boyfriend Jayden to the other end of one of our lakes today (and cooked up chicken burgers with Piri-Piri sauce for lunch

I let Ash drive the boat all the way down ... she was grinning from ear to ear the whole time, which is always nice to see.

She wanted a photo of her and Jayden on the wharf ... I only had the camera and a single flash with me ... so not the greatest of shots (this was the best of a somewhat challenging exercise in full sunlight), but I think it captured the mood of the moment quite nicely.

Jayden drove the boat back - teens today all have the same driving style ... flat stick, or nothing at all (and yes, it was somewhat of a bumpy ride back!).

Clever idea. Looks great when viewed at large scale. Not helped, however, by that warning/safety notice pinned on the end RHS post.

As Donald says, a nice idea rather spoiled by the sign, which no doubt wouldn't be on 'the finished article'.

Good to see you back. I do like the perspective in #2. Great idea. Photography should be fun and I think it is very important that we also have fun shots. Well done.

I really like the second image. The framing with DOF really helps otherwise there would have been way too much foreground.
