    Replacement Collar

Dogs hate the plastic Elizabethan collars which they need to wear after surgery. The collars are uncomfortable and it is difficult for the dogs to see and eat; plus sleeping is very uncomfortable...

    Replacement Collar

However we use an inflatable collar which protects area of surgery but is a lot more comfortable... We deflate the collar just a bit for her to sleep comfortably...

Shadow had a benign growth taken off her foot.

Nice shot, does she try to remove the bandage, the collar doesn't seem like it could stop her?

    Re: Replacement Collar

She has not tried to chew her bandage. We have deflated the collar a bit bit but, as soon as we see her going for the bandage, we will inflate the collar fully which will prevent the chewing without being uncomfortable for the dog...
