Looking for a QRP for my Ball Head and Manfrotto 243 window clamp. Sunwayfoto DLC-60 60mm or the 50 50mm option and the Andoer Alloy Quick Release Clamp anyone use or used any of these two options please and can comment? Thankyou, Russ.

I just take the ball head with clamp off my tripod and put it on the Manfrotto window clamp. I had no need to buy a whole new clamp but used one of my Benro heads, usually the B1, because the camera gear I use with it is fairly heavy.
QRP = quick release plate (for a ball head).
I’m not a great fan of acronyms, especially one that are uncommon. They do muddle the question.
As Cambridge in Colour is a photographic site, chances are pretty good that the question deals with photography not amateur radio.

I have any number of Arca Compatible quick release plates and clamps. Some are name brands like Really Right Stuff (RRS) and some are no-names (likely of Chinese origin). I don't see any difference in usability between the name brands and the obscure Chinese knock offs. The name brand units may very well be Chinese in manufacture also.
Companies now do all sorts of maneuvers to disguise the Chinese origin of their goods.

Russell - any mounting plate that is attached to your camera's tripod mount is considered a quick release plate.
There are two main types of clamps that are attached to the ball head; screw type and lever type. I use both. The lever type is faster to use, but the clamping action is not necessarily as secure as the screw type. The quick release plate will be the same with either type of clamp.
If you do not have a quick release plate, you end up screwing the camera the threaded screw on the tripod head.
I think you might be confusing the quick release plate with the clamp.
Hi, Yes you are correct, my bad for not explaining correctly. It is the clamp side of things I am looking at, I was looking for an option that if I needed to exit the car quickly to get a shot, by the time you unscrew the clamp the image has flown or run I do use a self made bean bag option but trying to drive and hold the camera sometimes becomes a little danerous (for the camera) that is one reason why I purchased the Manfrotto 243 window clamp, thankyou for the help. Russ.
