Excellent result.
Way to go, Bill! With great lighting to boot!
Great capture and well done for that, but it looks well over-sharpened to me .
Thanks Peter. I'd readily agree with 'a little over-sharpened' as it was processed with settings from a previous edit that needed quite a lot, but it didn't strike me as overdone at first sight.
There is some phase contrast halo on the tail and upper wing area that I left alone as it added definition.

We'll done! This little guys are so quick and nervous it's hard enough to get a shot, much less a good shot.
It's all about being ready and executing well, which you have done.
I was expecting the vehicle but this is just as nice.
Well done! The light on the hummer is really nice, be proud of this one.
Thanks Manfred and Rita
I, like John, was expecting the vehicle. This was a nice surprise.
Cheers Ole
Stupendous( I too was expecting a vehicle)
Great shot! How did yu get him to pose?
Thanks Daniel. After about 8 sessions spread over 6 (non-consecutive) days, and following Tom's advice, i got to know roughly when and where (s)he would appear. The rest was which of the burst of 40 were worth keeping - 1 in this case
