    Enchantress

The most risqué outfit worn at the cosplay shoot was the one Enchantress had on.

Why? They don't really contribute to the image, so I often crop my shots so the feet are missing.

Perhaps a slightly more aggressive crop would work better?

I just don't like extremities cropped off especially when as in the uncropped version there is enough headroom to have included them

Thanks for that explanation. You and I have a different view on that; which are driven by our own personal tastes and biases.

My main driver is whether the element contributes or takes away from the image and if it does, I will eliminate it. Floors and ground tend to not be interesting and those areas will be cropped. Here I was looking at how her costume and makeup work when deciding on the framing I used.

Here is a very well known portrait of the American actor, Gregory Peck taken by Karsh. Notice the deliberately cropped hand. It the great masters of the past did so for compositional reasons, we should too, as long as the image works.
