    A few Texas dragons

    From today's early morning walk. C&C welcome of course, but I'd appreciate feedback on ID.

    The first two have gorgeous black and white wing banding that makes them look almost like butterflies when in flight. These two were at rest on vegetation which gave a green background but I colour-selected then desaturated it.

    very nice series, particularly #1.

    I've seen a somewhat similar dragon in this area, but I don't know what it is, and it might not be the same as the one you captured down there. According to Wikipedia, over 3,000 species of dragonflies have been identified so far!
