I can see it being a real item. Take a look at this camera marketed for preschoolers.
And have you heard all the uproar over the webcam Barbie? Parents are concerned that their kids may video tape something inappropriate and have the images transmitted online. The webcam is designed to be uploaded to the INTERNET and shared with friends. This just goes to show you that marketers will push a product at any age group without considering the complications that could ensue.
