Richard, she's a cute little girl. It appears her life is getting better. Do you do the grooming yourself?

Re: Same Dog Three Different Clips
Paul David... Her life is getting better and better she is a lot more relaxed than she was when she came to us. Jolie follows me all over the house looking for one of my chicken jerky treats. Next, to follow up, we are going to send her to our prime foster who has two precious little girls of eight and ten. The mom and these little girls do a wonderful job of socializing dogs who are having problems bonding to people. The mom gets up every morning and takes the foster dog for a long walk with her two herding dogs and the girls make it a point never to let the dogs feet hit the ground. Jolie will be carried everywhere and presented with abundant love. Having one foster at a time allows the family to lavish attention on the dog. We have seen wonderful results in a couple of weeks of this type of attention...
Judy will groom most of the rescue dogs but, Jolie presented some special problems in her looks. There is a grooming chain who offers to groom our rescue dogs free of charge and we take advantage of that when we are faced with a dog that Judy feels she doesn't know how to groom. The two different looks are a result of two different groomers from that chain working on Jolie at different times. Having Jolie introduced to different people are also good for her personality...

How long does it take to groom those little ones? My wife has groomed our Bouviers and it seemed to take forever. They are big dogs and she would hand strip them.
Lois just topped 40 pounds. I think (and hope) she will will max out at about 65 pounds. Sally was pushing 80 but she had a bigger frame.

Re: Same Dog Three Different Clips
It takes an hour or two to wash and groom the small dogs, depending on breed and the original coat condition. These are our four house dogs... My wife doesn't groom two of our bigger dogs. We have our personal groomer (whom we pay - since these are not rescue dogs) and whom they visit every month or so...
Holly, the goldendoodle, is 55 pounds
And... Oliver, Llasha Apso mix, is about 20 pounds
While 14 pound Sasha, our rough Coated Jack Russell Terrier, is pretty much a wash and wear dog needing just a bit of trim every now and then
And ten pound Robin, a cocker spaniel - poodle mix, is small enough and easy to groom but, doesn't need frequent grooming
