    It is Pisaura mirabilis, also known as Nursery Web Spider because females spin a protective web tent like structure to protect their young until they are large enough to wander off on their own.

    Related? These big ones are sometimes called "dock spiders" on this side of the pond because they like being near water and often live on wooden docks. I don't know what species they really are. I found this one on a lakeside dock. The third shot is a different one of the same species, sans egg sack, to give an idea of size.

    The spiders which carry an egg sac on their hind legs will be Pardosa species. I don't know if Dan's spider is the same family but it does look rather similar.
