    My garden visitors

I tend to use older gear, (less complicated for me), I was about to set up on the tripod my Sony A330 with a Sony 75-300mm lens and 36mm extension tube when my subjects arrived early. With just a few seconds to respond, I managed to get a couple of shots hand holding before they vanished, but it was a little windy and my hands aren't what they used to be so please excuse me for my images not being sharp.
The Butterflies are a Peacock Butterfly, a Red Admiral and a Cabbage White. The last is a Painted Lady which I took with a pocket compact.
The Bee photo (taken with the 300mm setup)has been processed with Corel Aftershot Pro and a Japanese Nature effect applied. It appealed to my taste anyway.

Quite nostalgic for this ex-pat who use to live in rural Berkshire long ago - thanks for posting.

Keeping with my basic gear I used the Sony A330 + Cosina 100mm macro lens and a Vivitar Macroflash 5000 of the 1980's.
I managed a couple of shots before the rain started again.
