    Sharon, I love the energy in this image... I think I might crop quite a bit of the top. I'd crop it right above the top of the yellow brush. That would put more emphasis on the dogs...

    +1 to Richard's comments. That "radioactive" green grass is a sure sign that you have pushed the saturation way too hard.

    The rear ends of animals (and people) are not nearly as interesting as their faces. A shot of them returning would have been worth getting.

    Yes to both. Having a problem with my monitor, can't get the true deal with the colors. And originally I did crop out the trees... and for some reason decided not to ...

    In this case the rear ends work for me. To me, this is a portrait, not so much of the younger dogs but, of the older black dog gazing longingly at what his fun used to be in younger years, Boy, I understand those feelings...

    Thank you for noticing that part of it, and yes... I agree that the rear view of our pups is only part of the story. Our black lab tries very hard to keep up with them, but of course can't. Yet, they have brought back some puppy in her after her brother passed.
