Holi - revisited
On the first day of our visit to Nandgaon, we went to watch the Dance of the Transvestites. It seems that in Hindu culture, the Hijra were a recognized and respected group in the population. This is a closeup of one of the transvestite dancers at the Nand Bhavan Temple.
