Anyway, that's what we were told by the woman who surrendered Joy to us. The woman said that the puppy was vicious and kept biting her.
Well, there is no puppy that is vicious! Joy is an absolute joy to be around. Occasionally, as with any puppy, she will attempt to mouth us but, that is typical puppy behavior. A firm "no" with a gentle tap on the nose solves that problem. I am glad that Joy is with us and in a home where people understand puppy behavior.
The owner's vet recognized where the problem was and recommended that she surrender the puppy to a rescue group. Congratulations and thank you, Mr. Vet!
