    Puppy from Hell!

Anyway, that's what we were told by the woman who surrendered Joy to us. The woman said that the puppy was vicious and kept biting her.

Well, there is no puppy that is vicious! Joy is an absolute joy to be around. Occasionally, as with any puppy, she will attempt to mouth us but, that is typical puppy behavior. A firm "no" with a gentle tap on the nose solves that problem. I am glad that Joy is with us and in a home where people understand puppy behavior.

The owner's vet recognized where the problem was and recommended that she surrender the puppy to a rescue group. Congratulations and thank you, Mr. Vet!

Thanks... I was actually surprised that the images turned out acceptably. Joy was quite lively during the shoot. The animal eye-AF of the A6400 really helped.

I've met some people like that woman. Unfortunately. The shots of your new pal came out great.

She was one of our fastest adoptions. We posted the pics of Joy at ten-p.m. and at one-a.m. one of our previously approved adopters saw her photos and called us at seven-a.m. She came by at one-p.m., fell in love with the darling pup and adopted her

    Puppy from Hell!

Pure bred Maltese puppies with no physical defects almost never come our way. We have a listing of pre-approved adopters who haunt out Internet adoption sites waiting for one. Happy adopter and happier puppy

The woman who gave the dog up sounds like the owner from hell.

Right-on! I think that we would (I hope) have seen through her and not adopted a pup to her. We have taken some heavy flack from people to whom we refuse adoption.

My wife usually stops them by saying, we are advocates for the dog's needs, not for your wants

I am very proud of her. Normally she will do anything to avoid a confrontation with anybody for any reason. But, she is a tiger when it comes to the welfare of the dogs in our care
