Camera RAW has been fixed

Adobe introduced Adobe Camera RAW 11.4 which fixed the problem I have been experiencing with my A6400 ARW RAW files.

Previously, I could not access my NIK software by using the Photoshop Filter Drop Down Menu after I had downloaded the A6400 files to my computer. I was forced to do an extra step and convert the ARW files to Adobe Digital Negative by using Adobe Digital Negative Converter. Just checking the DNG box in the Bridge Downloader would not give me a file in which I could access my NIK software using the drop down box. This was a time consuming PITA but it is solved now.

When I open the downloaded ARW image using ACR 11.4, I can access my NIK software just like I always did in the past.

You can use NIK while in ACR?
I got a question for you. I use ACR and I use to be able to go to the Profile and then choose the options there but now it is just MATRIX and BROWSE. I have searched and came up with nothing. Someone did say that stopped it but.. i don't see why they would.

I use DNG files

I open a DNG in Camera Raw and see Profile menu/ 5 different Adobe profiles plus browse .

Have you update dto the latest version of PS

No you can't use Nik in ACR. You can in either Lightroom Classic or Photoshop.

What version of ACR are you using? Like Richard I am running the latest version and I get the six standard profiles plus the custom profile I made for my camera. I can access these from either the drop down box or the "matrix" button. If you are not able to pull up the profiles try restarting Photoshop and if that does not work try restarting your computer.

If mine is any indication, "matrix" is just an option for displaying whatever is there, in addition to the basic half dozen. I can get the full list to pop up by choosing "browse" from the drop-down menu as well as "matrix". In total, I have the following color profiles, all installed automatically:

--6 Adobe profiles
--5 emulations of Canon picture styles
--8 "artistic" profiles
--10 "modern" profiles
--10 "vintage" profiles

Of the 39, I have never used 38.
