When I save an image in Photoshop CC
I may have asked this question before and received a negative answer but, maybe things have changed with the new issues of Photoshop CC...
When I "save as" in Photoshop CC, the drop down menu presents me with a choice of 23 file types. I actually only save in two types: PSD or JPEG.
Is there any way to cull out the file types that I never use, nor ever expect to use?

No...
It appears to be a hard-coded drop down menu. Because Photoshop is widely used in the graphic arts industry where these other formats are common, it makes sense for Adobe to do this. Just as an aside, I have used 6 of the formats in my own workflow (Photoshop, Large Document Format, JPEG, Photoshop PDF, PNG and TIFF).
