Lake Austin is narrow and in some places with steep banks hundreds of feet high. Those with money to burn have a solution in those areas. They build tramways costing hundreds of thousands of dollars to get down to their boat docks from their megabucks mansions. I shot this one yesterday while my wife and were taking an afternoon ride up and down the lake with our family in our grandkids' pontoon boat. FZ1000:

Thanks, Ted. I like the FZ1000. I think it has the same so-called "1 inch" sensor as used in many current mirrorless compacts. The shots I took on the lake were jpegs, which work well at low ISOs and, if you turn down the camera's noise filter to -5 (you can't turn it completely off, but you can prevent the over-aggressive Panasonic high ISO noise reduction if you are forced to use high ISOs), I've found you don't need to switch to raw capture to get good results. Here's another shot from yesterday:
