New Life For A Broken Lens
I have a vary old Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Macro lens which has problems. Sometimes it will stop down when shooting and sometimes it will not. A Tamron Rep told me that the lens is so old that it would not be worth fixing,
However, I have found a use for it, shooting portraits outdoors wide open Not stopping down is no problem and the old lens achieves some pretty nice bokeh and, as I said, it darn sharp.
In this image, the lens did stop down to f/3.2
I just sold a mint-condition Canon 5D2 to a military guy and I am throwing in the lens free of charge so he can do what he wants with it.
The offer was a scam - luckily I didn't fall for it, See PAYPAL Scam - DON'T FALL FOR IT!
