Southie (South Boston) in blue hour

Went with some folks to a waterfront park that had a view of part of the skyline but took a long lens for tighter shots of the surroundings. This was taken at about 250 mm with a FF camera. C&C welcome as always.

I am wondering about slightly reducing the amount of water?

Thanks, all. Geoff, thanks for the suggestion. Here it is with some cropped off the bottom:

That looks to be a better balance, Dan. Just fractionally darker than the original.

Looks like a very nice place.

If it were my image, I would get in there and dodge the trees and houses to open up the shadows some more.

Beats me why. I didn't change any aspect of tonality. because of a failed plugin, I uploaded differently, and perhaps there was some code in that that affected brightness.

Thanks. a very good suggestion. I did some more of that, although less than you. I also reduced the saturation of the water very slightly. I had not increased it, but it looked a bit unnatural.

My smugmug site was getting cluttered with versions, so I replaced the image in the OP with this edit.
