What do you think? These were posed on the Talkemount site and were shot with a Sony A7Rii and the 55mm ZA and 24mm GM lenses...

I don't think that this would result in a noticeable difference in the image quality with other reasonable calibre gear from any manufacturer, especially with the amount of down-sampling we see in these images.


This type of event shooting is challenging at the best of times and the photographer was not ideally positioned for what he was trying to do. Given these shooting conditions he got some nice images, although I personally think his use of prime lenses in what appear to be working against him. Most pros would tend to use high end zooms in this situations.

Some images appear to be quite sharp, but there is definitely softness in areas that should be sharp in an number of them. A bit more work in PP would be useful in some of these shots.

Beat me to it. differences in exposure and processing would have an effect, but I think any decent gear could produce these.
