    H G Wells - reworked

I had a go at reworking this picture of a sculpture of H G Wells I took two years ago. I decided to give it a b+w treatment with a red filter in PP. Plus some selective dodging and burning.

    Would appreciate any thoughts.

Nicely captured and processed, it has been years since I saw the original movie and I think special effects and enhanced action sequences overshadowed small nuances in the remake; so at first the number "802701" had little meaning to me, a quick search provided the answer. Descriptive and reflective analysis of an image does have its merits.

For me, I'm not keen on that bright half of the chair back which I find distracting from the rest of the image. Otherwise it looks good.

Thanks for the comments. Geoff, yes that did give me some concern too. I made another image to try and even this out a bit.

That looks much better to me, Peter.
