They are all nice, but with #1 and #3, there are lots of flower images done in the same vein.
I agree with Dan; #2 is special because it is quite different. I wonder if dodging the one petal on the right near the bottom might be worth considering so that it doesn't draw our attention quite so much?

All three are nice, Andrew, but I especially like the last for the richness of colour and the depth of field.

Thank you all for your thoughts and comments, they are much appreciated. I find flowers to be great fun to photograph. Bright colors and interesting shapes generally make for satisfying images. I agree with Manfred and Geoff's comments that doing anything different with a flower portrait is rather a challenge. When you've already got a pretty subject finding a new and interesting way to present it is difficult; but then that's the fun of photography, yes? I continue to try my hand at macro photos of flowers and have been pleased with some of the results, #2 being an example.
