    Lotus Blossom Temple Roofline

Continuing my foray into some more abstract images, this is an image of parts of the white marble roof of the the Bahia Lotus Blossom Temple in New Delhi India.

This is a more "normal" shot of the temple showing the complete roofline.

I really like the 'Roofline' image. One could have a lot of fun dodging and burning it (I know I would).

Excellent. What we used to call "working the scene" to good purpose.

    Thanks for the comments.

After staring at the image for a few hours, I decided there are two things I don't like about it:

    1. The small line at the bottom right hand corner; and

    2. The drainpipe running down between the roof segments. I find that takes away from the abstract look.

I removed both.... I think this improves the image.

Thank you for sharing these beautiful examples of modern architecture. I like how the roofline looks; it is amazing how people can design such beautiful constructions. Need to say that the eavestrough looks great and has high durability during winter when a lot of snow falls on it. If any of you know the similarly designed buildings? Right now, I'm working on my building project at university, so I'm seeking good examples of unique buildings. I will have more examples and try to make something unique by myself. Feel free to reach me in private messages with links or other useful information.
