Helpful Posts: By applying techniques I am learning on here (mainly dodging and burning) I am going over some old shots and giving them a makeover. This one was from two years ago on holiday in the Norfolk Broads. Rio loved the beach. I used a 250mm lens for this at f4 to isolate him between the beach and sea.
I brightened up the lighting on the side of the body closest to the camera. Also brightened up the breaking surf.

Very nice looking pup. I think I agree with Richard, maybe a tighter crop, and doing something to bring out his eyes a bit more?
