I had a lot of fun at the Oktoberfest Celebration sponsored by the German American Societies of San Diego. The costumes were neat and lots of beer was flowing...
First time that I used my A7iii and Tamron 28-75mm lens at an event and I liked the combination quite a bit. I didn't feel restricted at all by the 28mm wide end...

I hope that your subjects were all Bavarians, otherwise I should be complaining about cultural appropriation.

Generally, most of the folks that I met at the Oktoberfest were either from Bavaria or had some sort of Bavarian connection. Of course, I only met about fifteen or twenty of the several hundred folks who were in attendance.
I met a lady who came from the next town over from where my grandmother was born. In fact, it is such a small town that very few German people that I have met in the past had even heard if it. And... that lady told me that she used to attend dances there
