I just returned from a road trip. Thursday I left for Big Timber, Montana which is a three hour drive. Distances in the west are measured by time, not miles.
I did see this at a rest stop.
I fished all day and caught some nice Brown Trout. I did get a few photos. I like this one the best.
The following day it was off to Cameron, Montana to fish the upper Madison River. The fish are pretty big there. But first a detour in Bozeman to visit my daughter and granddaughter. I fished all day Friday in beautiful weather. I don't take a camera on the stream with me because I carry 2 forms of protection from large dangerous animals. I did manage a photo of this guy.
The following day I fished for two hours in the morning in rainy, cold weather . No luck. So I took off for Yellowstone National Park. These are some of the shots from there.
The next day I left in a snowstorm.
