Single Use Plastics - Take 1
With single use plastics in the news so much, I've decided to explore some common ones in the studio.
I'm still not quite sure where this is going, but this is a first attempt. Single studio light with a strip box shining down on some white plastic forks sitting on a piece of black plexiglas.
I suspect I will go to a white seamless background and try something similar using side lighting as my key light tomorrow...
Of course it is easy to invert the image and get this:
I think this version might be a bit more effective, but I'm not where I want to be yet.

Wow Manfred, this is really excellent. If you continue to follow this up you could create a whole class of image for a set of materials that we hope will one day be consigned to history. I would love to see more of these images!

That's a good result Manfred. But with respect to our single use plastic problem I'm wondering if a random pile may speak louder?

Very interesting. I like them both. They bring to my mind the symbol of water.
