Nice effort, I would use Lightbox to move the composition around and see if a crop would add a bit to the image.

I agree with John. An interesting and evocative capture. However, the framing seems questionable to me--more space behind the boat than in front, and some area at the top with no detail. I would play with cropping from the right and the top.

As processed, the image has a limited tonal range and a limited amount of saturation. Is that your preference, or is that just how it came out? Just to start, just moving the white and black points, adding vibrance, and cropping gives this:

Thank you both. Originally, the limited tonal range was on purpose, yet I can see now where that was a misguided goal. The edits and crop produce a much better image, thanks Dan
