Pangong Lake in Winter with Prayer Flags
I posted an image that I took in this general vicinity about 6 weeks ago. I was looking at entering it in a nature competition, but was then asked to judge the competition, so I won't be entering it. In nature photography showing the "hand of man" is strictly off limits, so I had to find an image that did not have anything to do with traces of humans in it.
Pangong Lake - Dodging & Burning
I personally preferred this image, but with a bright, colourful area thanks to the prayer flags someone set up there. Any visitor to the Himalayas knows that Buddhists install prayer flags in areas of significance; windy places, mountain passes, etc. Anywhere that the wind blows so that the prayers are carried to sentient beings.
