The colour of the flowers contrast nicely against the sea and pale landscape. I am fascinated by the very pale, small centres of the flowers which really draw attention to them - they are quite unusual.
Nicely seen and captured, very vibrant.
The green leaves made me think the bracts were part of the flower, but now I know otherwise. I see the plants require temperatures above 10 degrees centigrade and can be grown on a trellis in a greenhouse here whereas they look to be outdoors in Iran (assuming that is where Vaez took the photograpgh).
Hi Vaez,
Beautiful colours complimented by the background.

I thought that we didn't pass comments on competition entries
Roy
Doesn't that just refer to the competition thread? After all, not everyone reads every post to know what the entries are, and often some are entered having first been discussed here and improved as result of comments made.
I actualy try not to look at competitions entries when they are added but consider them all at once when voting starts.
David. I honestly thought that this was a monthly competition. If I'm mistaken, apologies all round, sorry
Roy
Vaez, very nice. It's nice to see you posting again.
Vaez - When Donald posts to say that a competition is open for entries, we reply to that post with our entry incuded in our reply for everyone to see. Others do the same in the same thread and so all the entries end up in one thread. In due course Donald closes the competition and invites us to vote.
I hope that helps, but if you need more information then please do ask. I am looking forward to seeing some more of your photographs.
Vaez Not your fault. Please keep posting
Roy
I have moved this thread to a more appropriate location.
Comments should not be posted during an active competition, either the monthly competitions or the mini-comps.
This image was not in one of the regular locations for competitions.
