Jim - when I look at this beautiful fall scene, a few things jump out at me. It doesn't look quite sharp. I wonder if there is either a motion blur or a focus issue. The other thing that strikes me is that you have put the horizon line almost dead centre of the image. That can work, but more often it is not as effective as doing something else.

The sky and especially the reflection of the sky in the water are acting as distractions. I've come up with a couple of crops that might work better.

The sky and the water does noting for the image. Concentrate on the beautiful colours.
