The rules for photography in this pueblo is that you have to pay by the camera (not by the person) and you are not allowed to photograph any of the pueblo dwellers. Except for the guide...

Door to courtyard of 300-year old farmhouse in Yangshuo, China. The elevated threshold is to prevent ghosts entering the courtyard. "EVERYONE" knows that ghosts have no knees and thus cannot step over things The picture on the door frightens the ghosts and makes sure that they will not enter
