    A room of its own

    This colourful room is used by artists and I can understand why. There is plenty of room and I really loved the colours especially the 'federation green.' C&C most welcome.

    I find shots like this one extremely challenging and you've managed to pull this off fairly well.

    The first problem is the bright windows, which draw the viewer's attention to them. What I will often do in exposure bracket the shot so that I can blend "properly" exposed windows with a well exposed interior in post. It can be done in post as well, but the results are often not as good as the bracketing approach.

    The second issue is all all that floor. Getting something into the middle to break up that vast expanse of space often helps. Pushing that box away from the wall and into the shot, for instance (and putting it back later) might improve the shot.
