Dempster Hwy Yukon
Another shot from going up the Dempster Hwy in the Yukon. Most of the images the cameras' white balance was around 4800 to 5200 even those I was at times in sunlight. I can only think that as I was about 2Deg south of the Arctic Circle here the light was softer and a little cooler compared to down south (Ontario).

Re: Dempster Hwy Yukon
A very striking composition.
I do wonder whether you could make more of this with some additional postprocessing. Presumably from haze, the mounts are very low contrast compared with the foreground, which I find keeps drawing my eyes down. You also have a hot spot on the left.
Just to show some possible directions, I did a quick-and-dirty. I may have overcooked a bit. I applied both midtone contrast (didn't do all that much) and local contrast to the mountains and did some dodging and burning. This is certainly not a polished edit, but I wonder if this is a good direction to play with.

Re: Dempster Hwy Yukon
Nicely done Dan, took a number of shots when the conditions were good, have not gone over them all with a eye as to polishing them up. Worked on some but a number of them are not as well polished as I would like. Nice direction to go in. had not really seen that left side so bright as pointed out needs to bring down some, same as mountain behind those two tall trees on left side.
Thanks for your insight.
Cheers: Allan
