Well seen and captured. My only nit is the out-of-focus bit of fabric in the foreground bottom which I find distracting.

Always an issue with street photography, especially when trying to blur the background. I couldn't be bothered cloning it out.

Candid Street is what it is, and waits for no one. See it. Frame it. Shoot it quick, or it's gone forever. But of all the replies you could have made, "I couldn't be bothered cloning it out.", was truly the very last one I expected to receive.

Robert - I worked with the image; different crops, etc. Getting rid of the softness is easy to do by cropping, just above the mother's thumb. The trade off of losing the mother's hand did not seem worth it, nor did the effort to rebuild that part of the image. The distraction is there, but it is minor. I burned down the area just a touch; the focus is still right and the softness is in context. For a digital image, there really is no need to go further.

In photography, like in any other project, knowing when to stop is important. In general, I find it is time to stop when additional work does not result in a stronger image.
