Re: Contemplative - 3
Now I like this one. I have no idea if it is contemplative or not but it works. If any criticism it would be that I would have preferred the silver background to be in focus in it's entirety.

Nice; is this a part of an opened aerated beverage bottle?

Re: Contemplative - 3
Very nice, but as Peter mentioned, silver bottom part should be in focus.

Re: Contemplative - 3
Yes, I am going to retake this shot. It is a view of a stained glass window. I could not get parallel to it and wanted to ensure that the light coming through was totally out of focus, so I was a bit too aggressive in my aperture setting.

I am sure Manfred that you have noticed how the rendering (or whatever it may be) appear to be very strange at the bottom...unless the error in parallelism is to blame and not the lens.

Re: Contemplative - 3
Retaken from a different vantage point. The light was a lot different today, so the colours are more muted and less edgy, but the round "bubbles" are sharp.

A more rounded image Manfred, very nice.
I am intrigued by what the "bubbles" are. I am thinking an aluminum pressed sheet ?

Perhaps bubbles inside the glass...

Antonio has hit it right on the mark. The bubbles are part of the glass.
