Nice capture. IMHO, the first is far better than the second. It's nicely composed, and the background, while busy, is dark enough that it isn't very distracting. The second one has a lot of distracting material in the background, particularly the top third, that doesn't add to the image.

+1 to Dan's comment. What he has written sums up my thoughts on this series as well.
Had you waited for the woman to get out of the frame before pressing the shutter release, that image would have been better, especially had you burned down the background a bit.

The only thing I can add to the thread, in defence of the the second, is the the juxtaposition of the 3 human forms: the drummer and two women with sunglasses, albeit one is apparently a poster on the side of a passing bus(?) - so I suspect Ole's shutter snap timing was deliberate, making the most of a couple of chains of events he had no control over.
If mine, I would have cloned/spot removed some of the detritus on pavement at lower left corner of the frame, it can't really be cropped out as that destroys the composition of said 3 human forms.
