It irritated me. I recognise the skill an effort required to put it all together but felt with the same time and effort he could have achieved something much more worthwhile to view.

Just because it could be done, doesn't mean the outcome is particularly interesting. Many experiments fail and I would put this piece of work into that category.

Actually I have sympathy with the popular reaction. I WAS impressed by the precision required to get the images (particularly of the taxi sequence) to flow - which is why I considered it for a post, but I could watch it only once. God help anyone who suffers from epilepsy...
